Hi everyone
I hot a Decision made on 29 Feb sent to my wife's (sponsor) email. They recently asked me to resend one of the initial application form again.
I can't link my Application Number to MYCIC account I created in Website as instructed. Tried different combinations
Error message: <<Based on the information you entered, we found no applications.>>
Has anyone experienced that ?
Thanks
Mine doesn't work either. I tried everything but no luck!
I am the only applicant who couldn't link application in My CIC even after getting SA.
@PrinceOfPersia: Did you try to change the number at the bottom from 1 to 2 ,if you have dependents then you should increase the number by the nb. of dependents on application.
Name and details must be exactly the same as what was written on the application.
You can skip the city of birth by adding a "space" and skip the passport details. It has to work.
I knew some people who were previously divorced, they had to chose 'Divorced' as marital status instead of 'married'. I know it is weird but it happened.
Let me know if i can be of further help... Good luck :
& remember that you have only 5 tries per 24 hours otherwise you have to wait till the next day.

Please help me its urgent!!!!
My husband got an email this morning to provide imm5562 travel information form and client receipt for information disclosure.
The thing is my husband is orginally from pak and residing in UAE from the last 7 years. He visited uae back in 2008 for 3 months and then received his permanent visa to work there in 2009. He has the UAE residency card as well. My question is that does he need to include all the travel information he made from Pakistan to UAE and vice versa or just the 1st time visit he did? Also we dont have any representative do we still need to submit that form?
@Ktaj you must have to include details of all visits from Pakistan to UAE. and if you don't have any representative then you don't have need to fill this form.

Oh I thought he doesn't need to give information about his travels since he resides in UAE and the form says if the PA has traveled other than his country of citizen or residence. Thats what got me confused.

Yes..! When he traveled to UAE before, he was actually resident of Pakistan. After getting resident card (Iqama)
now he is resident of UAE. That is why he has to include his all visits.

Thanks alot for being helpful .. one more question i asked so many times but no one answered me. What should I write for his status in UAE in schedule A form? Would it be worker? He does have the resident card.

If he is in UAE on "work visa", you must write his status as "worker". Having resident card means you are legally allowed to stay in UAE. Resident card will not change his status in the country.

Hello everyone
Hello chilkootcee
Your application is currently subject to statutory requirements, including background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. We are currently conducting certain background investigations. As these are conducted by outside agencies, we are not in a position to determine when your application will be finalized.
We can appreciate that you anxiously awaiting news about your application. Please rest assured that we will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Once your application is finalized, you will receive an email. If your application is approved, the email will give instructions on how to re-submit your passport for the issuance of the visa.
this is what I have received today from Abu Dhabi visa office.
what's your comment chilkootcee ?
Sorry...was away for a while. To be honest, ANY reply from the ADVO is a good thing because they usually don't acknowledge anything. It is a standard response, and they are correct that background checks vary from person to person so there is no predictable time. The fact that you received a response is a good thing. It means they are working on it.
I know this doesn't help much...

I would ignore the so called "educated" people in this forum and file a complaint against ADVO. Since, you had a terrible experience with ADVO, I would write all the mistakes ADVO did in your case and file it on CIC website. You can google "complaint CIC Canada" and you will find the link to file your complaint. These people only work professionally when their bosses in Canada call them and investigate any mistakes they do.
Exactly CIC Canada is very professional and nice

Yeah I tried everything, I mean literally everything. Tried changing the Marital status too but not getting anywhere.
I tried all the format (Application and File#, Application# and Family name, etc.,) but no luck. I also reported a Technical issue and it's been 10 days since I created a request but no response as of now except the confirmation email.
If you know any other tricks please let me know I would give it a whirl. Thanks!
