Hi,
My PF is maintained by Employer's trust and not the PF office.
Can we show the Provident Fund receipts from Employer as POF?
Regards,
Aditya
In India the Employers Trust is authorised by the EPFO to maintain provident fund accounts of employees of a firm/corporate body. Such a Trust has to open and maintain PF accounts of the employees, regularly remit pension contributions of the members to the concerned office of the EPFO, issue annual accounts slips to the members, disburse the amount of PF accumulations to the members on resignation or retirement. I have heard that, once you applyfor PF withdrawal, you get your money quicker in case of Employers Trust when compared to regular PF accounts held at EPFO.
Since this falls under the definition of unencumbered and readily transferable, personally I feel that you can show it as POF. You will have to show the PF statement with month on month balance and the current balance. Since it is an Employer Trust, you can get a letter from your employer for the same and also ensure to state the withdrawal guidelines.

It can be shown as POF, its your money. You can withdraw it either after 60 days from leaving an employer or after retirement.
Its in form of liquid cash, safely you can show it under POF, ensure u have all the details mentioned about PF trust/ account number, employer details, your name, monthly contributions and balance as of date.
Hello,
I'm just wondering if I can apply for Express Entry and Mon Projet with Quebec at the same time? I missed the January intake, I'm currently in the pool for EE, can I still apply for Quebec in June? Will there be any conflict? I just want to increase my chances of immigrating. Thank you very much for your advice.
Best,
Vi
Hi all,
I have submitted my EE profile on 28/04 and am waiting for the ITA. I was wondering whether in the meantime should I get the PCC from the countries where I have stayed for more than 6 months (4 countries), or should I wait for the ITA?
Thanks

Except for your current country of residence, it would be advisable to get the PCC from all the other countries as for some countries it takes time to get the PCC.

Hi,
Is it possible for me to use a non-canadian debit card to order my GCMS notes through the official CIC link. I will provide my friend's address and phone number, but use my own debit card (from UK) and my own email address. Does the billing address and contact address have to match?
I would like to ask you guys that what if someone has 425 points but doesn't have any work experience... can he accepted into the pool?
I checked and the main requirement is to be eligible under one of the three categories, without work experience, non of them matches me, right? (I am in Canada with study permit)

Unfortunately, without any work experience, you cannot apply for express entry.

No worries, I used a non-Canadian credit card with my name and email address to order GCMS notes but listed my Canadian relative's details.

Congrats on your ITA. NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation/title match in the NOC list. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).
If you have found an NOC where the duties and responsibilities are the same as what you worked (in your home country), then go for that NOC, even if the Canadian designation/title does not match. However, in your application still mention the designation as per your reference letter/experience letter.

hello all..
I have few queries...
1. I have done my post graduation from private university (Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur) affiliated by UGC-AICTE. Will WES evaluate my credential of private university? as i have seen on WES website ,they evaluate credentials of only those universities which are graded 'A' by NAAC. My university is not graded by NAAC. Should i send my transcript to WES?
2. I have done Bachlor and post graduaion from 2 different universities. For credential evaluation through WES...two separate transcript envelopes will be available to me from each university. Can single primary applicant send two transcripts for credential evaluation?

1. With spouse as non-accompanying, my score is 471
2. With spouse as accompanying it reduces to 449 (there are chances that i receive PT nomination with 449, but currently they are on halt as well)
Secondly if family sponsorship takes long time (CIC website says 28 months), is there any other way through which my family stays with me while their PR is in process??
As long as your wife and children are listed on your application as non-accompanying, and have had the required medical and police checks, you can sponsor them later.
The timeline to process spouse and children applications from Pakistan is very long. However, you can help speed up the processing if you have a complete application with a lot of evidence that your relationship is genuine. This will probably mean your wife will not need an interview, which saves a lot of processing time.

I have heard of cases where WES has assessed educational credentials even though the institution was not listed on their website. Meanwhile, did you try this tool using which you can check the Canadian equivalence of your degree http://www.wes.org/ca/evaluations/preliminary.asp.
