Hi Friends,

I got my PCC today in a couple of hours from Bangalore, Outer Ring Road PSK.

Tips below,
- Create a login. http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp
- Fill the form online or save as xml and upload the xml and make the payment Rs 500 each (If you are applying for immigration along with your spouse or dependents)
- There is no Tatkal option online, but it could be possible at the PSK. Not sure on this part.
- Documents to Carry:
- - Original passport
- - Copy of address proof (if current address is not same as in passport. Instructions are available in the website)
- - Letter (Hand written / typed), addressed to the RPO, Bangalore stating the reason for the PCC. In our case Canada Immigration application.
- - Proof of the Canadian Immigration application. (I gave a copy of PER email.) For my spouse, gave PER email + Marriage certificate as the PER email has only the applicant name.
- I was issued 2 original letters of Police Clearance. The passport is also stamped with details that PCC was issued on 2nd Jan.

Hope this information helps a few.

Thanks
Vinodh

Not sure about Noida. I applied via the Passport Service Kendra Website, which allows us to choose the date among the possible dates. Wait for some senior forum members from Noida to comment.

Vinodh one more question pls.....if i understand correctly the PCCs were issued to you on the spot ? Am i correct. Thanks

Yes. It is given on the spot if the address matches with the one in passport.

In my case the address was different, but the Aadhar card carried the present address, so that is accepted and was given the PCC (2 original copies) along with a stamp in the passport on the same day.

If anyone want to apply for PCC from Bangalore, You can directly apply through Bangalore police commissioner office.
here is the site and procedure.

http://www.bcp.gov.in/

Any one from mumbai/thana who have experience of getting PCC from mumbai ?

Hi Vinodh,

Thank you for the details

I have one question. I have recently moved to Bangalore(3 days back) and I received ITA from CIC.
Im from Gulbarga and when enquired there about PCC,they said that they wont do it. It has to be done from Bangalore or Hubli.
I need the PCC for processing the ITA further. I have Aadhar card, voters id,driving licence issued in Gulbarga. I can get the current address on my Company's letter head(IBM).
Will that be accepted?

Thanks,
Vijay
