Guys, do you know what is the average wait time for oath invite from the Vancouver office these days? I got my last update (Prohibition completion) on March 05 and it has been silence since.
I am getting very anxious. I was really hoping to be able to vote and I also have travel plans ...
there will be some delays due to election and this is just the assumption. why don't you contact MP and get them to help you? it's not BG anymore which they couldn't help, eh?

I have already done that. I even called IRCC and spoke with an agent. Also sent an email to the Vancouver office politely asking if they could schedule it soon.
The MP office hasn't responded yet (it always takes a month to get back to me). The agent was not helpful. The Vancouver office never responded to my email. So here we are

Citizenship is not politically bias
But I think the individual means to say that the parliament is dissolved and hence the local mp on the process of being elected hence the current one can’t ask on the individuals behalf
once elected you will have an mo who can forward the request to check which party member they are does not make a difference
I don’t want to discourage you, but in my case, it took about a month to receive an update on my test. See my timeline below. When I spoke with an IRCC representative, she mentioned that the window for reviewing the test can go right up to the last day of your test period, so it may take some time. Also, I’ve been waiting for my oath ceremony to be scheduled since March 20.
Do you even know what you are talking about? MPs are ELECTED members of parliament, which means they may or may not stay in their seats depending on the outcomes of the federal election. IRCC however, consist of employees theoretically hired regardless of the outcome of the election.
Of course the newly elected government may make changes to the budgets and policies that will inevitably affect the functions and efficiencies of different government agencies, but the functions of these agencies shall be expected to remain the same.

Honestly, your timeline is about as normal as they come these days. It feels like anyone applied prior to January 2024 are the ones who would get stuck in eternity.
