I am planning to sponsor my spouse from India. I was about to submit my application but found out that i lost the job. If i still use that job letter, will it go against me?

Thank you for your response. What will be the best thing to do without a job offer? I can show about $30k in savings account, and I have a house on mortgage and some gold

Why do you need a job offer to sponsor your spouse/common law partner?
State your previous job, your savings and start looking for a new job.
Explain your plan, and when you get a new job, update IRCC.
Do not misrepresent yourself to "pretend" that you still work for your previous employer.
As long as you can have a plan to support yourself and PA, you are fine. Do not apply for social assistance. (i.e. welfare)
I recently submitted an Outland Sponsorship application for my partner, who is from the Philippines.
Regarding my financial status, I am a full-time student, and my primary source of income comes from self-employment through selling items on Marketplace. In my application, I provided a detailed explanation of how my business operates. However, I have not yet declared this income with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Additionally, I own a home and have included mortgage receipts under my name as supporting documentation.
I am seeking any advice, as I am worried that I may not qualify as a sponsor. Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated.
I applied for PR through SINP with my work and my PGWP expired along the way. I realized too late to apply for restoration status so I got a PFL and my application was rejected because the explanation didn’t satisfy IRCC. Technically the lawyer said it shouldn’t be a big deal but a part of me is actually worried

As long as you didn't get the 5 year ban and declared any refusal in your application, you are ok.
It may take a bit of time for them to go through the records.
