Hi
I am assuming you might get it early next week, because couple of people with same ITA but different AOR got there ECOPR today. Also, it depends on visa office as well but hopefully you'll get yours soon.
Hello there,
I am waiting for my eCOPR and have applied for BOWP. My SIN got expired in January. Does anyone know expired SIN is the reason I didn’t get Canada Child Benefit this month for my son?
Thanks in advance

Probably yes, your SIN is linked to your study/work permit so since your SIN is Expired that means your status in Canada is also expired so no benefits and I am not sure if they provide child benefit on applied status.

No, they don’t.
However, if you applied through PNP and your PNP letter has an expiry date, you can receive CCB until the letter’s validity expires.
My work permit expired on July 24 but I was receiving CCB till Dec as that was my PNP validity.
Sorry if this thread is wrong place for my question but I couldn't find better one. I am writing on behalf of my friend. She is a CEC applicant, submitted file on Nov 8, 2024. As of now her application is under background check. She went to India for 2 month(mid DEC-mid FEB), got married in JAN 2024 and her partner is PR.
My question is while her application is under process, her application will have any impact since she has to update marital status.
If she inform IRCC by webform, will CRS score change? does this cause any problem to her application?

I assume your friend did not mention her partner in her PR application because she was not married at the time of application submission. Given that her partner is already a PR, it should have no impact on her application. However, she should notify IRCC of this change as soon as possible, and ask IRCC to include her partner in the application. This is only my opinion, and she should get professional guidance in this matter before making any decision.

you will get your P1 once all 4 are completed, usually IRCC update the biometrics and medical the fastest but eligibility and background verification can take up to 1 to 2 months.
Hi there. I received ITA on 15 July and AOR August 9th. Eligibility passed in December.
All stages including Security completed/passed in first week of Feb but then I noticed while calling IRCC, they changed SVO to Abu Dhabi.
It was Sydney, NS since AOR. is this normal ? any indication if this means FD/RFV as I am based in Abu Dhabi ?

you will receive your P1 once all 4 parameters have been updated to completed in the tracker and your secondary VO doesn't really matter because your ECOPR will be issued by Primary VO.
