Congratulations! Could you share how you prepped? Should I be worried about dates?
Thank you. I read discover canada about 4 times and did the online mock tests several times until I aced all of them.
my PR card has no signature. It was issued in 2022.

Thank you for your reply. Since you have used it and it worked I will email them PR card.
I got fingerprint request. Does fp means process will slow down or speedy?
I did the test on Feb 9 and passed.
IRCC asked me to provide me canadian id with photo in the email.
However I did use my native country passport due to signature on it.
Should I provide them same ID ( passport) again or a Canadian Id like PR card or healthcard or license? Note: PR card does not have signature on it.
Following is the email I received:
Good day,
Please read the attached request carefully and make sure to follow the instructions given to respond to this email.
You are receiving this notice because we were unable to verify your photo identification (ID) required during the online test.
In order for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to accept the results of your online test, a copy of your photo ID is required. Acceptable photo ID includes, a valid (not expired) ID with your photo and signature on it (for example, driver's licence or health card), or a Permanent Residence Card (even if it is expired). If you do not have a photo ID, please provide an explanation.
You have thirty (30) days to send us a scanned copy or photo of your piece of ID.
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR UCI AND APPLICATION NUMBER ALONG WITH A SCANNED COPY OF YOUR CANADIAN ISSUED ID.
If we do not receive a copy of your ID or an explanation why you do not have a photo ID, you may be required to take the citizenship test again or proceed to a hearing with a citizenship officer.
If you have any questions, please contact us as soon as possible at the email address above.
Appreciate if someone has similar experience and share the details. Thanks.
I am thinking to send PR card but there is no signature on it.
Use your PR card. The test instructions specifically state that we can use the PR card even if it is expired. Don't waste anymore time which will delay your application.
my PR card has no signature. It was issued in 2022.
It makes no difference. they will allow it because they asked for it.
a dumb question - is the Prohibition check the same as security check? such as when IRCC said "in the process of background & security check", it actually means the background and prohibition check?
Thanks, Another question. It states below statement:
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR UCI AND APPLICATION NUMBER ALONG WITH A SCANNED COPY OF YOUR CANADIAN ISSUED ID. Where should I mention it? Sorry for this dumb questions but I am over concern and don't want any delay.
Should I type in the scanned copy? Or the file name with both numbers and name or in the email body? So confused

Email body should have UCI and Application No
and attachment should be the scanned copy of your ID.

@DocumentJourney My timeline is similar to yours. It appears if the background check is not completed before Citizenship test, you should expect a fingerprint request. Fingerprint request is also received incase you have a complex application like lot of travel etc. Can someone throw some light on this?
Hi Guys ! Have a quick question
Tracker got updated with "Test is progress" (21 February) , but i didn't receive any email invitation . will i maybe receive it later ? is that normal ?
Also regarding the test . i'll use my desktop PC + webcam . but is a headset needed ? like should i wear a headset ? and should the computer have a MIC ? cause i see many people getting their test rejected for technical issues so i want to avoid that
Thanks !

You will receive the email closer to your test window start date. PC + Webcam is enough. No headset is needed.
