Thanks for the information.
I haven’t received mine yet. There might be a delay, possibly because I have dependents as well.
I hope I’ll get it tomorrow or sometime next week.
New update on my dossier:
Submitted: July 25
October 21: Biometric done
November 28: medical passed , January 6: I am asked for Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) and CV. January 7: Sent the documents.
Has anyone else received a similar request from IRCC? I’m a bit concerned as to why they’ve asked me to resubmit the background form.
It was most likely due to an error of yours. I wouldn't worry too much.
I got the same request due to a gap of 2 months in my personal history and a wrong day of birth.

I have a question, I'm on PGWP and my PGWP going to expire in April 2025. And as PR application having average processing time period of 11 months so i don't want risk my status and i'm deciding to apply for BOWP (Bridging open work permit). Can you guys advise when should i apply for BOWP as i still have 4 months of PGWP? And how long it takes to get BOWP? And how long BOWP is valid?
Any help will be really appreciated, Thanks in advance

You already have the AOR, so you can apply at any time. However, you can wait another 1 or 2 months, as you might receive the eCOPR. If you haven't received it by the end of February, you can apply for a BOWP. I applied two weeks before my work permit expiration date, as I had not received the AOR at that time.

As long as you apply before your current permit expires you are allowed to keep working under the same conditions of your original wp (given that you don’t leave the country after such permit has expired). In terma of how long would it take: Canada’s website says up to 6 months for work permits, and it should be valid for the duration of your CSQ.
