Hello everyone, add my timeline first.

I applied and received my CSQ in Canada on July 4, 2024,

- Federal Process -

2024.07.14 - Federal Online Application
2024.09.25 - AOR, Biometric Instruction Letter
2024.09.26 - Biometric Done
2024.10.10 - Review of Medical Results: Passed

then it has just been stuck in this step for 2 months now.

After I applied my case, I tried to search for anything that could let me know the time for the procession, and I found this website from the Government of Canada
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html
I keep track of the expect process time from this site. but I do not know the information that it provides valuable for reference? or could find any processing time rules from this maybe?

*Application type* Economic Immigration
*Application Class* Skilled Works (Quebec)
2024.08 ---- Expect time: 6 months
2024.09 ---- Expect time: 6 months
2024.10 ---- Expect time: 11 months
2024.11 ---- Expect time: 11 months
2024.12 ---- Expect time: 11 months
Hi, my timeline is almost the same as yours!

QSW Federal Process (inland):

2024/07/08 Online application
2024/09/16 AOR and biometrics letter
2024/09/17 Biometrics done and appears on gckey
2024/09/25 Pre-arrival service letter
2024/09/26 Medical exam required
2024/10/05 You passed the medical exam

I'm stuck at this step as well. I guess I am going through a long security check. I work in a quite sensitive field (aerospace), not sure if it's related. Let's keep each other updated if we get any news!

That's quite likely. You can order GCMS notes to see if that's the case (but I'd only do it if you don't hear anything in a couple of months since you're still within normal processing time)

Hi Guys my case seems a bit strange. Normally applicants receive an ask for medical a week after the pre-arrival letter. See my timeline
submission: February
AOR: May
Biometric: July
pre-arrival: October
still waiting for a medical request (10 months passed and only biometrics is done)

that's an awkward kind of processing. officer could ask for medical while the background check is in process or whatever...
any idea? Is anyone in the same situation?

Update on the process:
Sep 8 2024 - Application sent
Dec 3 2024 - AOR + Biometrics
Dec 5 2024 - Biometrics passed
Dec 10 2024 - December 11, 2024 Review of medical exam.
Dec 10 2024 - Pre-arrival letter
Dec 19 2024 - December 20, 2024 You passed the medical exam.

I also see that you saying that "Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made." is the FD step which means that P1 is soon, but my Final Decision section states that for quite some time already, so I'm a bit confused. How actually FD, P1 and P2 should look like? How to distinguish them?

It is a bit confusing, but what it matter in the FD, is when they add a date before this message, in my case, a few days after my medical passed, they added this exact message:
December 19, 2024 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

The day after I received my P1. Waiting P2.

Don’t be, I do believe it’ll be fine, the issue is that now you’re in the line for the medicals, if not this week the request, maybe early 2025.

You got this! ☺️
