Usually fingerprints means that the application is picked up for an extensive background check. Hope ur application gets processed earlier considering it just sat there for an year already.

Hi Smithlee, I am in same situation, family application, spouse - oath not started rest all completed, my application : BG in progress since September 2023. Please share if you have any updates? Does atleast spouse gets an oath ceremony?

Send webform to decouple your spouse application from yours otherwise she gets held up.

Finally, after more than a year of a long wait, me and my kids did the Oath on Oct 8th, my application was submitted Sep 20. The bad news is that my spouse still waiting to get her background check to be completed, we did call many times but no luck..

here’s a summary

• Oct 8, 2024: Oath is completed
• Sep 26, 2024: Scheduled for Citizenship oath ceremony on October 8, 2024.
• Sep 26, 2024: Oath or affirmation of citizenship form required.
• Sep 25, 2024: Citizenship oath status updated to In progress.
• Aug 28, 2024: Prohibitions status updated to Completed.
• Aug 28, 2024: Language skills status updated to Completed.
• Aug 28, 2024: Physical presence status updated to Completed.
• Nov 24, 2023: Citizenship test status updated to Completed.
• Nov 6, 2023: Background verification status updated to Completed.
• Nov 5, 2023: Fingerprint results received.
• Nov 3, 2023: Scheduled for citizenship test between November 3, 2023 and November 23, 2023.
• Oct 30, 2023: Citizenship test status updated to In progress.
• Oct 4, 2023: Fingerprints required.
• Sep 20, 2023: Application filed and processing begun.

Dear how long it take for kids minors application to turn green I am in the same situation 2023 December still waiting for oath.

You can call them and ask if they have received it. With Canada post on strike there might be some delays.

Hi.. How was your experience with FP that you submitted at Frontier one? How fast did it get updated with IRCC and BG changed? I am thinking to go either with them or with Commissioners.
