Amazing! Let’s hope it is!

also, it’s weird because mine shows the same message. What was supposed to be before this message?

Do you see the same message, ‘Final Decision’?

I applied around July 23, and the rest of the process has been completed, I guess . The last steps were the Pre-Arrival Services invitation and medical approval. BTW, When did you apply?

  • December 11, 2024 You passed the medical exam.

Are you checking these updates on your GCKEY account?

For inland applicants, there is no background check as far as I know (AFAIK) because all background checks were conducted when they applied through a work permit or study permit. In my case, I have already received the pre-arrival service invitation, and until last Tuesday, the background check status was marked as "Not Applicable." However, it recently changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

That's why I am asking if there is anyone who has experienced a similar process in their application.

That's false. There is a background check for everyone and the fact that you underwent one earlier does not matter at all.

Maybe you are correct. The background check for the Outland applicant takes longer than for the Inland applicant.

For me, The status of the background check was ‘Not Applicable’ until last Thursday, and I can see the final decision today with background check is still processing…

That's not true, I've seem countless dudes outland getting their pr in a matter of 4-5 months and plenty of inlands stuck for 12 months+.

It depends on the Applicant travel history, Application, Officer and the Office, etc….

For me, it took three days to complete the background check before the final decision, and I’ve seen many comments in this thread recently saying the same.

I just got the P1 Email....
