I reached out to IRCC in regards to ECOPR AND THIS IS THE RESPONSE THIS MIGHT HELP THOSE THATVWANTVTO TRAVEL
Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding the status of your application. Currently your file is in que for the issuance of your eCoPR, however the files are processed on how they are received. As such we can cannot give you a specific time as to when you will receive your eCoPR or PR card. However rest assured your file will be processed as soon as possible. Please be advised you have a valid Work permit that expires on 2025/07/24.

For your knowledge.

If you are wishing to Canada and have not received your eCoPR before you leave and haven’t not yet received your PR card you will need to apply for a PRTD to travel as your Visa will no longer be valid. Application for a Permanent Resident Travel Document - Canada.ca. If you currently want to travel and will return in less then 90 days and have a valid visa to return may I suggest placing your file on hold and provide a return date no greater then 90 days and not beyond the validity date of your COPR. (2025/09/15). If you wish to wait for the issuance of your eCoPR and your PR card we cannot give a specific time frame as these files are processed based on when they are received.

Is it really happening? : "..... these files are processed based on when they are received".

Hi, I’m in a similar situation, and this information is very helpful. Could you please share how you communicated with IRCC to get this confirmation? Was it via a call or an email? If it was through email, could you let me know which email address you used for your inquiry? Thank you so much!
