And what are the actual timelines for approval ?

No Update as of now.

I also applied on 15th September but no luck didn’t received AOR. And I called IRCC and luckily i got contacted with an agent and he said that we are processing files which were submitted in 1st week of September. But as i see many people whom have submitted in October got their AOR. Don’t know how IRCC is processing files.

Applied on 15th September.
Finally received AOR and it was issued on 29th of October but received in mail box. Got to know today when I opened mail box. So guys please check you Canada post mail box as well.

Did you not submit your sponsor's email? I've seen this happen sometimes, not sure why tho. Anyways, do link your app to gc key to avoid future mails and get all updates through that.

I have provided sponsor’s email but still I don’t know why it came in mail. I already link that to my gc key.

A bit of a late update since I was out of town for work.

AOR: October 29, 2024

Letter says next steps is biometrics but wife hasn't received anything yet.

Application history on the tracker just says "Application received", and how they'll check the documents from the documents checklist.

Request for more info: Oct 10th - submitted missing documents on Oct 30th (delay had to renew passport)
AOR: received Oct 15th
OWP: Applied on Oct 30th
Quebec: The undertaking and CSQ application were sent to MIFI on Oct 31st.
OWP: Approved Nov 21st.
....I am still waiting for BIL or pre-arrival letter...

Updates must be moving in quick now because I think I have another update.
We just got an email letter that says the following:

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met.

I'm guessing this is the AIP?
Since we're in Ontario, we should be able to go get OHIP with this letter, correct?

Letter mentions that Case Processing Centre is Mississauga.

We also applied for a TRV which got turned around in 1 week for the passport request, and the recent 2 updates on the PR application just happened after that.

Updated timeline:
