Hey Guys, I submitted my file on May 11, when I checked tracker my background check started and was showing in
Progress on Aug 14 . If security check is undergoing for almost 2 months or if we didn’t get any updates after 5-6 months ( for CEC application) does that always mean my file is undergoing comprehensive security check?

Gcms notes Received on 12th oct, mentioned review required for pof, it should be for 3, pof is for 2.
Updated pof with gift deed & resubmitted bank statement 2 weeks ago. Still waiting.

It is, from what I have seen from previous threads! You can find out a lot from it. While ordering, you can go for the full package which also includes CBSA notes to get a clearer picture on where your application stands!

Hi everyone, so here is my latest update,
I am asked to do the medical, nowing that I did it upfront and it was passed since 27th may in both the tracker and the GcKey...now in the tracker it still shows that I don't need it, but in the GcKey it says you have to pass the medical test.
Has anyone experienced or heard about something similar?

It's really odd that they asked for another medical even though you submitted upfront! Better call IRCC and ask them what might have triggered for a second medical! Or was it sent by mistake?

Doing it upfront has nothing to do with it. If everything is alright during the medical exam, then they have no reason to ask for a second one unless some new information came into light! Call IRCC! This might have been mistake on their end as well! But for clarity it's better to connect with an agent and ask!
I will order them now. I really wasn't expecting all this 7 months and still stuck in eligibility review and bgc check
