Good day, You can edit that same application, change dates in all forms and attach same payment receipt with new application. You don’t need to redo all application again . Please note that your application processing time with start from scratch.

Thanks for the reply.

What do you mean about attach the same payment receipt? Is the money not being refunded then?

@Miss bee

I submitted my PR application in July (I'm waiting for AOR), and now I’m paranoid or may be overthinking.
During COVID-19 in 2020, I planned to attend a conference in the U.S. but I could not because there was no appointment available. I submitted my online application for a U.S. visa and paid the fee to book an appointment. I did not find any appointment, and I forgot about that application ( again I did not book any appointment or cancel; I just submitted my online application and paid the fee to book the appointment). I’m stressed because I have seen people get rejected for not going to their U.S. visa appointments or if the appointment got cancelled. I’m just scared that not booking an appointment and including that info in my PR application will cause an issue.

Do I need to do anything or inform IRCC before getting AOR?

No , you are overthinking. This will have zeros impact on your canadian and US visa application. You only filled form and paid which is way different than refusal . Again you are overthinking. It will have zero impact and you don’t have to inform IRCC regarding this .

hello @Miss bee , if we don't have birth certificate, what all options are available with us? and out of following, do you think any of one is acceptable. I am asking for PNP-nonExpress PR profile.
1) if I give them personal letter and supporting documents (passport, other national identify document).
2) If municipality can give me a letter that birth certificate can't be provided as info is not available, and attach this doc and other supporting documents.
3)If I get it notarized my DOB by embassy?

Could you please guide me here. thank you for your help in advance.

thank you. You are saying If I have 10th/12th certificate having DOB on it, it suffice birth certificate requirement and we don't need these 3 points (documents - Affidavit, notary etc) which I have mentioned in my post.

if it like this, super. thank you.

Yes . You can attach other documents too if available.

Hello,

@Miss bee. Thanks for your insightful comments always. I applied for a work permit using an LMIA application number given by my employer in May 2024 when my work permit was about to expire and received an automated work permit extension letter.

I also applied for a second work permit in July 2024 when I received my OINP nomination which made my employer abandon the LMIA process which was a more expensive route.

I updated IRCC with the new information via webform in July with an updated IMM5710e form attaching all OINP support documents.

However, I received a refusal today (September 23) but was given 90days to restore my status which they stated expired today. I have paid the restoration of status fee of $229 though I did not submit a new work permit application as I have one currently ongoing.

My question is that

1. Can I go back to work?
2. Do I need to apply for another work permit again since I have a second one still ongoing.

Looking forward to your kind response

So you have another work permit application before refused work permit application. If yes you are on implied status. This is actually really confusing part . If you have applied 2nd work permit and no decision is made on it , you can still work. If 2nd work permit also gets refused, then you are out of status .

Yes I have another work permit ongoing. I applied for two (same employer), only one has been refused. Still waiting on the decision of the other but paid for restoration of status and sent in a webform with evidence of payment, letter of explanation and OINP supporting documents. Can I still work?
