Hello All,
If you obtained your PR in Canada through the PNP, are you required to work at your job for one more year after getting your PR card?

Is the P1 the email with the attachment that begins, "your application for permanent residence is now ready for finalization pending the confirmation of your permanent residence status."? If so, then yes. I received that Sept. 17 and the office handling my application is Montreal. I assume we are now waiting for a second email, the P2? Right?

When I receive an update I will be sure to keep you posted. Also, my background check is still showing 'in progress.' I am assuming they haven't updated it yet, so I am trying not to over think it. I am sure we will receive the P2 or some kind of update soon! Good luck! And keep me posted, too, please!

I went on my flight. Couldn't wait on the cars anymore. Card arrived 2days after I left Canada. A relative is now sending it to me via fedex

P1: Aug/Sept , P2 Sept.. copr in 4-6 days

This does not imply to all but majority of the application who got portals in Aug are still waiting and again, not all, but most of the sept P2 got copr
