Hi everyone,
Application for two people as per below.
Applicant # 1 received request for fingerprints. FPs sent May 14. Tracker still show as they are waiting for them. Language and Physical Presence have been updated to complete, and as expected, Background verification and Prohibitions are still in Progress.
Applicant # 2 did not receive request for FPs and Background verification changed to complete about a month ago. However, Language and Physical Presence still show as in Progress.

- Is it normal that they process things separately for "linked" applications?
- Is the above "normal".
- Does any one know how can I contact RCMP and/or IRCC to follow up on the FP?

You won't be able to follow up with RCMP before a month from submitting you FP
If a month passed, call the office where you took them and they'll give you RCMP # to call and ask
Since you submitted Nay 14th, then most probably they'll be shown complete June 14th

You can call rcmp at 6139986362. You need your DCN number and they will provide you the required info. No need to wait for a month. Just give them call and wait for the agent response.
I wish you let me know as I asked many times!
However, that was what citizenship agent confirmed to me when I called them asking last week
sorry bro, i didn't use this platform much. I just saw his message and replied. Basically, RCMP take 3-7 days to send the results to IRCC (if no criminal record) and then transit time make it one month to shows on tracker.
