Walk-in at Toronto. 3 weeks and still under process. Hopefully next week, I'll see the process move to the next stage.

In case of minor applicant, the declaration form where it says

Do parents need to sign along with child thumb impression?

Also, in the section where it says:



Do both parents and minor have to sign here or only parents ?

first section - only child's thumb impression/signature
second section - BOTH parents' signatures, nothing of the child

Do I need to send original Indian passport along with my OCI application?

Also, BLS website says "Processing Fee: $1.70+ Courier fee" but I don't know how much is the courier fees?

this is a very complex situation. no you shouldn't send the originals, and for courier - you call BLS.

Hello everyone, applied on 18th may at Mississauga. Bls website tracker says "processing at consulate general". But oci website status says "no record found". Is this normal? How long should i wait before i can see the status on the oci website?

around 20 days from date you submit application in person at BLS.
These days I have heard its quicker to get updates, so 20 days is a ball park

no!! Toronto received date that was showing earier is also blank now.
but my Mississauga application is showing as printing status - processed, on 28May (DOA was 03May).

Hello,

Need some clarification (as BLS guys find all silly mistakes) for Surrey Location via postal.

1. Demand draft of 377.70 CAD (BLS International Services Canada Inc.)
2. Consent form has no photos of parents (unlike for Toronto BLS) - For minor applicants
3. How much they generally charge for courier services, just want to have an idea, also do they take credit card details via phone ?
4. In Checklist what to fill "BLS Center Location", is it "Surrey" ? I know its silly question but still asking.

Lastly, if anyone got OCI recently (for Surrey location) please share the timeline

Thanks a lot, and for checklist, only minor's signature/impression or both parents as well. Also I believe only first page is required to send not the information pages below. Please confirm.

Hi, my OCI application status changed today to "passport ready for collection after oci stamping". I submitted my application as walk in and my passport is with me.
Can someone help me understand if this means my OCI card is ready for collection?
