Walk-in used to never take so much time in Vancouver. Something is really wrong there. They have slowed down considerably.

Mine is 24th November 2023 and today i completed the 8th week, mine is also "under process"
Currently, the pattern is 34-35 days from your date of acknowledgment the status is changing to "Processed"

I have two applications with ack 9th and 10th november. Status is processing at consulate general. So i dont know what is going on. I was hoping to receive it by this week but i dont think i will.

Hello Guys, I applied for OCI on NOv 28th 2023 and BLS tracking shows "Processing at Consulate General". Its been like that for a long time. Is there any other site I can check the status of my OCI application? Thanks a ton for your help. Cheers!

Status changed sometime ago to..

Application Status

(Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping)

Does it mean they are making it ready for pickup from counter in bls?

Or will it change again to shipped tomorrow or in 2days because I had paid for courier delivery also..

Status will change from that to "Ready for Collection/Dispatch" based on pickup or courier option that you chose.

Used to be 1-3 days. You can even query Purolator website with your application no to see any Tracking getting generated.
Things have slowed down a lot so not sure how things are moving these days.

About to submit OCI application.

Instruction says: The documents enclosed with the application should be self attested.

Does it mean every document that we upload has to be self attested? (Meaning take print out, self attest and scan back)
Or only the document that we submit as hard copy?

Not the uploaded one. Only ones you are going to submit in-person or via courier.

Thank you so much. My Date of Acknowledgement is Jan 9th 2024 and I see that there are people with earlier ack date in here who are waiting. I applied for e-visa today and hope to get that sooner. I opted for entry visa from the category instead of tourist visa. Will that make a difference? Thank you again. Cheers!

Mine shows as processed today but nothing more. Given the delays in the OCI stamping and delivery in Vancouver it makes me nervous to wait.
I thought 14 weeks was more than enough time to ensure I received my OCI on time. Now here I am waiting and buying my nails…..

Purolator really are the worst. Despite signing up for "Deliver without signature"- it has gone to receiver unavailable? No missed delivery sticker in the mailbox/door and when I checked cctv cameras, it appears no one even approached the door/mailbox today. They just went and marked it as "Attempted Delivery - Receiver Unavailable" on their own lol.

Have you received your OCI yet?
I’m just trying to gauge whether I should wait for mine. It’s processed but hasn’t been stamped. Did yours show stamped at BLS before delivery? I have 13 days before my flight so getting nervous.
