Hello everyone!!!
I need your help.
I received portal 1 in November 2023 to which I replied that I am in Canada (which I truly was).
Then on December 27, I travelled outside of Canada due to family emergency.
But today on December 29, I received portal 2 where I have to declare that I am in Canada, upload picture and provide mailing address.
As I am not in Canada, I can’t declare. But this portal 2 email says I have seven days to complete the request. It is not possible for me to travel back as of now.
Please help. What should I do ?

Write back to the email id which sent you portal 1 and let them know to hold the P2 until you're back in Canada.

A lot of steps in the process pending for you. Keep a watch on the application tracker. Once you get a final decision date showing on gc key and all the steps completed on the tracker, then you have to wait for P1. P1 would again depend on which visa office is managing your file. You never know with IRCC.

Applied thru immigration agent, can’t really see updates on my files. On average how many weeks/months is wait for all the steps to be completely done! Thanks

Have you tried sending your P1 template reply to the different email addresses? Try to back read, there’s a link mentioned to the email addresses. It worked for me!

Got my AOR April 14th, p1 October 18 and still waiting for p2. can any one tell me that we receives portal request once application has been approved?

I think the letter doesn’t specifically mentioned that it’s approved and it only says that it’s ready for finalization. So, practically speaking, they have reviewed all your submitted documents and everything has met the requirements, and now it’s only pending confirmation of your status.

2-4 months from biometrics to P1 is what has been recently observed.

Yes, it took me 4 months from biometrics until I received P1. P2 took 1 month from P1. But I have read that others have gotten theirs much faster. Mine is from Montreal VO and it seems that Montreal VO is taking a very loooonggg time.
