Hello All, I need advise please
We applied for PR as a family since 31st March 2022, AOR 2nd Nov 2022, Medical Passed 6th Feb. 2023(Now expired). still waiting for feedback
I have a daughter already in Canada that was on study permit. She graduated this June 21st 2023 and applied for PGWP before the expiration of her study visa which was 7th Nov. Unfortunately, this was refused. Now, what do we do? while we are still waiting for final approval of PR for the family, should she reapply for the PGWP or apply to restore her legal status in Canada status?
But restoration of status means she has to apply to study somewhere else?
Please I need your thought and guidance please. I am confused

Will this also affect the PR approval and eventual COPR for her?
Note she is already working and she had attached her job offer to the initial PGWP application
Can she apply for restoration of her status as a visitor. She should apply before 90 days .
Eligibility requirements for restoration of status
Applicant requirements

  • apply within 90 days of having lost their status
  • meet the initial requirements for their stay
  • remain in Canada until a decision is made
  • have not failed to comply with any condition imposed automatically by regulation [R183] or by an officer [R185], other than those stated below
  • have lost their status only because they have failed to comply with any of the following conditions imposed by an officer:
    • paragraph R185(a)
The period authorized for their stay.
    • subparagraphs R185(b)(i) to (iii)
The work that they are permitted to engage in, or are prohibited from engaging in, in Canada, including the
      • type of work
      • employer
      • location of work
    • paragraph R185(c)
The studies that they are permitted to engage in, or are prohibited from engaging in, in Canada, including the
      • type of studies or course
      • educational institution
      • location of the studies
      • times and periods of the studies

Hi everyone,

I got NOI from OINP( ISS ), I applied to IRCC using the Non- EE PR portalhttps://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login on 24 August 2023. I am yet to receive AOR for my application. My PGWP expires in September2024. I am not sure how to deal with this situation? If I do not receive my AOR before September2024 how should I applyfor extension of WP?

I have sent multiple Webforms but never got a response I was looking for. I tried calling but they said you will get your AOR before that. NO idea and I am getting worried about this process.

Do not panic! September 2024 expiry is enough time to get your AOR before September 2024. PLease relax. You will be fine.

It's finally been updated
Security and Criminality assessments are passed as of Nov 29, 2023.
However, the eligibility assessments have not been completed. Do you know how long the next step will take?

Good day all, please my GC showed Final Decision December 18th, please how soon should I expect portal 1. Your response will be appreciated.

If you are saying 'Eligibility' on the tracker, probably there's no Eligibility passed on it.
The description on the tracker says "We’re making sure that you meet the requirements to be eligible for the spouse, partner or child class"
However, if you meant 'Eligibility' on GCMS note, I have no idea because my case is different from yours. Probably you will get PAL if Eligibility is done.
And if you see eCOPR information on the tracker, then you're almost done. In my case, after I see eCOPR information, it's been about three weeks for Portal 1 email.

It is very hard to estimate that.
1. It depends on your Secondary Visa Office (SVO) if I understand correctly.
2. I also don't expect that I get Portal 1 email very soon due to year-end holiday season.

Hi guys! Do you have a sample email that IRCC sends when they tell you that the document you sent via Webform is already added to your file? I have received an email from them today, but I am not sure if it's about my webform to them last Friday. Thanks!

At the bottom of the email, it should have the wording from the webform you sent to them.

Just to clarify, have you received your OINP nomination yet? Because from your post you said you "got NOI from OINP( ISS )". Then you "applied to IRCC using the Non- EE PR portalhttps://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login on 24 August 2023." So, I presume that you already received your nomination.

The OINP ISS nomination comes with a work permit support letter, which you can use to apply for a closed work permit, even if you haven't received AOR yet for your Federal PR application.
