I paid same time I submitted application, so got a letter to do Bio Metrics.

I think some of us didn't get the option of paying for our biometric fees while submitting the initial application. We had to pay via a different link, once we got an email from CIC.

Got a medical request letter to do the medicals, similar to biometrics one.

Adding to the timeline here:
I got AOR for outland (a part of the French proficiency stream) on November 2nd. Did the medical exam prior and submitted that along with my application; fees were also all paid when application was submitted (this included biometrics fee, but I did not upload a receipt of bio payment). Still waiting to hear for any form of an update or for the actual biometrics request. Fingers crossed updates come soon for us all!

Did you receive the same email for biometrics (which send to almost everyone including the pdf and you have to submit the payment via webform) or directly from your GC account?

How long is the travel? Is it for a month or more? Or just a few days or a few weeks?

If the later, come back and then submit your application as you got 30 days to submit your passport. If the former, you'll have to inform IRCC.

Travel is from 18 Jan to Feb 30 and I just received my PR portal (virtual landing) invitation today. What options do I have?

Got an email the file is updated. Then logged into GC to see the message pdf.

So you also got bio fees request on Dec 8 paid same day and today you got bio instructions letter? Please confirm.
