I sent my passport from US to Ottawa on nov 13 . Fedex shipping said passport delivere on nov 14. No correspondence after that. Its been more than 2 weeks. I have to travel on Dec 13. Any help would be appreciated ?
Anyone who applied around the same time and received any update ?
Can I call somewhere to request them ?

hello . It generally takes around 3 weeks to get an update . You can call CPC Ottawa and request for information . Download Fongo app and you can make a call from US .

If I use Fed-Ex Ship Manager as mentioned in the previous post to get Ship labels for both return as well as sending my passports from USA to Ottawa wiill I get Commercial invoice copy after payment as usually commercial invoices are for goods send across we will be selection document type- personal documents.

Hi Sam - i am trying to send the package and have issue in creating the return shipping label. It’s asking me for the Canadian export declaration- did u have to fill it ? Could you please guide me how to create the return shipping label ? It’s from CPCO Ottawa to USA .

Hi did you receive your passport back ? Been more than 2 weeks since I submitted mine . No update at all

Finally, I got the passport back with an updated COPR end date aligned to my wife's validity date of the medical test which is later this year. Just have to keep the patience that the passport is in safe hands. I checked everywhere and seemingly they have not misplaced a single passport all these years.

Since your passport is going beyond the borders, the customs declaration is mandatory. Just declare it as a $1 value. You will have to send the two-way declaration so that the passport can be sent back. Go with FedEx as they are well aware of the process and will guide you through creating all the necessary documentation. The international return shipment can only be done by creating a shipping account and doing all the paperwork in their store. Hope this helps.

I lost my passport that WAS sent from CPCO Ottawa through Fedex. The Fedex guys said it was not sealed properly. So saying safe hands is not all right.

Hello, I mailed my passport from US thru Fedex on Feb 24th, and delivered to CPCO Ottawa by Feb 27th. It was signed by A.ARONA whereas I read from the forum that many have been signed by J.JOE.

Since its been only a week and I havent heard anything or see any updates on GC Key. Now I am a little worry that it might go wrong. Anyone who has similar experience, please kindly share and suggest. Much Appreciated.
