Its different for each office. Calgary office was very specific about mentioning the clerk's initials in the subject line to help them easily identify whom to forward the email to from the hundreds of emails they receive. But its not absolutely vital either because your file # and date & time of ceremony is also enough for them to identify the right clerk for that ceremony.
Appointment is always better. You are in and out in 10-15 minutes. With walk-in, it depends on the waiting line. You could potentially be waiting for hours.

We did not use the picture we had because a lot happened( we lose weight) and decided to
get a new passport picture and it needs to be signed by your guarantor.

Tomorrow will officially be a month since my LPP was completed with no oath invite in sight, I think it's safe to assume that at this point I won't hear back until January?
I requested my GCMS notes out of curiosity, I'm starting to think the oath might be a secondary processing office thing.
Finally after a long wait some movement, we got test invite today. Spouse's BG check is also complete. Timelines below:
