I already have entry visa but the issue i have is, that i am afraid that given the current trend, if my OCI is attempted to be delivered after I have departed on my flight(Dec 15 and there is no one else here in Canada to receive it alternately), and so what would happen then? Will Purolator send the OCI booklet back to BLS and then will BLS hold it till i come back or send it back to CGI and so on. I want to avoid this confusion and receive the OCI before Dec 15.
Plus, i read somewhere that the immigration people at Delhi or Bengaluru, will see that the traveller has a OCI in the system and if I do not have the OCI booklet to present to them, and instead attempt to enter on the Entry visa, what will happen?

There is some chance, you can get a better picture after getting Ack, hopefully, next week.

Personally I wouldn't worry about either of these issues -- you can figure it out after your trip how to collect OCI if returned to sender. At immigration you can always explain you have not received OCI in hand, in case.

Its been three weeks same status, when I called BLS earlier they said it is not ready and today when I called they said it is ready. It is frustrating they are giving different information. I do not want to drive one hr with a toddler to find out that OCI is not ready as I did not receive any email.

You don't receive email. The BLS tracker if it says ready for collection you can go and collect
