Hello All, Do both parents need to have indian passport to apply for child OCI (born in Canada)?

I recently got canadian citizenship and passport and don't have the surrender certificate yet ( I have appointment on 17th).

No all you need is your old Indian passport surrender certificate and citizenship certificate

Any Oct 17 or 18th application dates at BLS Tor, received ACK yet?

I'd applied for OCI (minor) on 17th October through a walk-in at BLS Brampton.
Still awaiting the acknowledgement. Hoping to get it soon...

That's too close for any location and definitely for Vancouver. Apply for entry visa asap.

that brings me to the next most important question- Do you or any of our other friends on this forum know if CGI Toronto is not working today (Nov 10) or Monday (Nov 13) on account of Diwali?
