Hello, I am new here but have been following you all for a while. I would like to know that I had applied for my minor on sep 27 in BLS Surrey via post. BSL acknowledged on 29 and on Consulate website acknowledgment date is 07 oct. my flight is on 26 Nov. According to your experience when shd I expect the OCI. TIA
Every Wednesday: https://www.cgitoronto.gov.in/page/open-house/
Its meant for meeting Consul staff to consult about unduly delayed applications, but some people have had success picking up documents like OCI that happened to be ready the same day. It cannot be used to expedite OCI processing.

Usually it’s 30 days from acknowledgment you get the OCI process completed. Even if we say Vancouver jurisdiction is slow and extra days for processing you should be good to receive the OCI in time before your flight at least in my opinion
Folks who have lost their surrender certificate - Is attaching copy of indian passport with stamp stating ‘Cancelled on acquiring Foreign Citizenship’ good enough for a new OCI application?
Has anyone applied for the entry visa in Toronto recently? As there are no available time slots on the BLS website, the only option available is to queue up. My questions are:
1. How much time does it take for the queuing up process
2. Are OCI applicants and entry visa applicants in the same queue?
