Anyone here from the Vancouver jurisdiction for entry visa in the last 2-3 days ? I applied today - walked in edmonton BLS at 5 am and got out by 11:30 am. Fingers crossed, not sure if there are delays for this one too like the OCI.

I submitted my application by post and BLS received it on Oct 30. No update. Automatic phone message says wait for 8 working days before contacting BLS for update.

Sorry I mean that I picked the option of the passport being couriered to me after processing. Not doing pick up since I don’t live close to BLS

I have an OCi in process but thinking I might apply for visa as a backup. There are no appointments left for November either at Brampton or Toronto. How long are the visa lineups? I read somewhere visa applications are submitted at a separate location. Is that true ?

Brampton has two buildings, Toronto has only one and lineups are pretty crazy long. When is your travel date? If you have 3 weeks, postal is an option.

EDIT: Just checked your data in my OCI tracker: you are projected to get OCI on Nov 21. Postal entry visa timeline wont be any better in that case.

Hi The lines are pretty crazy. You have to go there around 3 AM or earlier, then you might have a chance. Please remember that there will be appointments as well and they will get priroty. I hope this helps. Visa Application are at Building 60 (Brampton BLS) Gillingham drive.

right now status only says as unde process. What would be the next status message?

First, you will get an email from cspm-ivfrt@nic.in not from BLS
BLS status updates: (i) in transit to CGI (ii) processing at CGI
Visa site update: (i) under process (ii) under processing (iiI) granted (iv) printed

NOV 01: GRANTED BUT NOT PRINTED (On Visa website)
NOV 02: Processed and Printed.

1. I got my OCI acknowledgement on Oct 26. What is the expected timeline post this for Vancouver, British Columbia?
2. Should I apply for Entry visa to be sure- based on actual experience, how long is it taking for Entry visa in vancouver/ surrey? (BTW I called BLS Surrey - she said it is taking 30 days for Entry Visa in Vancouver and 7-10 days for Ottawa/Toronto). Do we have a tracker for Vancouver entry visa?

I asked at Ottawa and they said 45 days So you know how much you can trust BLS. The real nos are within 7-10 days for any Jurisdiction based on timelines shared in the forum. You should apply for Entry visa. OCI looks tough.

Yes. Visa will be stamped in the passport.
