You would have to take a day or 2 off. Line up at afternoon and wait for your turn hopefullly you get in next morning and get it processed so only a day leave and manage to get out of work early the day before of walkin.

find people in similar situation as you so you can tag team. The people take attendance every few hours so you keep your place in line so someone can do that for you while you rest and then you take turns. Once you are in the top 20, then you just stay in line till its your turn. or just mail it in if there is no rush or urgency. If i did not have to travel in November, i would have mailed it in.

Yeah i am travelling in mid December but i am not sure about the timeline for the postal applications.

Was there any update to the postal application during the weekend as the BLS and CGI was open?

I saw one report here (BLS postal - ivfrt email dated 5th implying BLS processed it then)

I also wanted to update that I applied for entry visa for my 2 infant daughters on Sunday (5th Nov.) at BLS Brampton. Currently it shows in transit to CGI. Will keep you guys posted as well. Thank you.

I submitted visa application via appointment at BLS Brampton on Friday (03/11) for my wife and 2 minor kids and it still shows as Transit to CGI! On the India visa website (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html), it shows under process..

Indianvisa website: Under processing

We submitted 1 application at Toronto and 2 at Brampton on Friday (thankfully had 2 appointments for backup....Toronto location strictly didn't allow more than 1 application per appointment). All 3 applications status is same as above.

Anyone from Edmonton who walked in between Oct 31 and today ?when I phoned BLS they’re saying 30 days for entry visas. I just want to know if anyone heard different when they walked in this week from Oct 31- now ?

Someone in group suggested to put unemployed, and other filed put NA- minor . Keep it simple. I did the same , no issue at all. They submitted the file

One uploaded digital photo and one physical copy of the same is enough. But someone here mentioned that one BLS agent asked for a second copy which is odd but happens.

already sent to CGI no I just received email from info@bls regarding they accepted my application. So someone is ahead of me.

Its just 2 appointments which i managed to book the day they opened the Nov slots...would have been nicer if I got both at the same location

Hopefully we see some update tmrw..we have travel date on Nov 15th!
