Based on my convo with BLS Brampton Call Centre they said 7-10 days. I called them on Friday 27th Oct

I think then that would be your ETA as Call centre would have looked at older timelines or maybe based on spike on application due to Visa ban might be they are give more ETA

Does anyone know how long it takes in transit from BLS to Consulate?

I have a Canadian passport and have travel planned for the 10th of December to India. I've applied for my OCI and it just got ack-ed by the OCI status page on the 30th of October. I am leaving Canada on the 30th of November for a different country first for other reasons and going to India from there.

Should I apply for an entry visa as well (BLS Brampton)? The earliest I can apply is the 7th of November since I'm outside Canada till then. Will it get processed by then? I don't want to get stuck in a state where I submitted my passport and can't make the 30th of November travel plan.

Plus are there any indications that the e-visa processing might resume again?

Can’t say anything about evisa. As for entry visa, currently everyone is being told 10-15 days by BLS staff
