IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Hello Folks,
Does any got the same experience as me and get updated in his status? Application Filled in mid of March 2023, fingerprint in May 2023 and a citizenship Test in August 2023. but still no update from Scarborough office except Background Verification and Citizenship test shown completed. the rest in progress

My test completed is from September 13. No update since then.

I had completed my test on Sep 01, 2023. Citizenship Application status shows Citizenship test as “In progress” till now (i.e >50 days). Anyone else with a similar experience?

Yup. In the same boat. I completed on August 31, tracker still shows "In Progress". I got my GCMS notes and there it says "Completed" and passed. They haven't updated the tracker.

Huge update! Woke up to see my Oath scheduled for Nov 16th. Oath ceremony changed to in progress on Oct 23 but the tracker did not update until this morning (Oct 25).

Finally got an update two months after completing the test. My timeline is as follows:
Applicant: Single
Physical Presence: 1114
Visa Office: Primary - Sydney; Secondary - Scarborough
Application submitted (online): March 13, 2023
AOR: March 29, 2023
Citizenship Test in progress: May 25, 2023
Background verification Completed: May 29, 2023
First test window: June 2 to June 22, 2023 (Missed it due to being out of country and not seeing the test email)
Request for test rescheduling (Denied): June 25th
Second and final test window: Aug 18th to Sep 7, 2023
Test completed: Aug 18th
Test updated to completion on the portal: Aug 22
LPP completed: Oct 18th (updated in the tracker on Oct 20th).
Citizenship Ceremony: Not started.

Any idea how long it takes to get an oath date these days?

Why Scarborough office process applications slowly? Any specific reason or workload? They are not updating the test results for months

Probably a combination of huge backlogs and insufficient staffing. Not to mention they serve the GTA area and the rest of the Ontario as well. Source: I work for the government and this is more common in the public sector these days. P.S: I am not defending them - they took 2 months to reschedule my citizenship test. I would have appreciated a faster processing but you know what, many 2022 applicants are still stuck at LPP. I hope they all get their citizenship soon!!

Thank you for the reply bro. I completely understand, but looking at how quickly other offices are sending out oath invites, its tough having one's application stuck at Scarborough

No problem, I felt the same way when I found out my visa office was Scarborough. Hopefully it won’t be much longer before you get the oath invite! Also, I am a woman .

Many people got GU today from Scarborough office.
All of them completed test 2-2.5months ago.

Does anybody know if anybody got GU before LPP was marked completed for them?
Can this GU be for something else if not LPP?

same here. Test done on Sept 4th, updated today, actual completion Sept. 6th

Anyone scheduled for Oct 31 oath get another ghost update today? I am already scheduled for oath on the 31st but received another ghost update today. Also, for those with upcoming oaths have you already received email for download instructions for the elctronic certificate?

I received a GU today and nothing changed…all the updates were the parts that were already updated hopefully it means there will be a change soon!

yes me too I got a ghost update today. Test completed May30th . Waiting for LPP
