“Hereby consent to our son/daughter to travel with ___________”

Kindly respond on this as it will be a big help. I am waiting for my daughter's OCI which i applied on 23rd Sep and we have flights booked for 6th November which in all probability I would need to reschedule.

Location? If Sep 23rd is the walk-in application date in Toronto, there is some chance of getting OCI before Nov 6th. What is the Acknowledgement date on OCI status site?

Oh wow! How much time did it take for you in the queue? And can you share the documents you submitted (originals and copies) please..

I had to get someone to line up for me. Wouldn’t have been able to do it with my infant and toddler. The line started at 3 pm the day before. The documents are the ones on the bls website checklist. Had to get notarized affidavit since the Indian passport only had the birth country and the Canadian one has both city and country. Got that done in the same building.

Can you please confirm if passport is needed after 10 days for stamping? or if its just issued on paper..

Can you confirm if they are keeping original passport of the minor? or they just need copies?

In case they are not asking for original passport, will they be asking for it after processing or will just be issuing a paper visa?

Need to submit original passports as the visa will be stamped on the passport by the consulate. No other originals needed.

If both parents are travelling then father’s and mother’s name and in brackets (both). That’s what she did for me.
