Thanks for the info.
And for any of the three scenarios, what’s the best way to contact IRCC to help remediate this.
And if I may ask, in your case, when card returned, what did you have to do?

You need to call IRCC and confirm the status first.
In my case, my card was returned to IRCC by Canada post as they deemed the address undeliverable. I provided IRCC with a new address and the card was delivered at the same.
I am in a weird predicament,
My eCOPR was in July.
GU2 update (your card has been mailed out. wait 6 weeks for it to arrive) - Aug 28 2023.
It's been October 25 now and no card yet.
I had one travel to US and I came back via land border using eCOPR. and now again, outside Canada and waiting for card to arrive so a friend can bring it for me.
Any idea where the card is lost.? like they never mailed it out and said they mailed it? Or they mailed it and its lost by postal?
If it has been mailed and not received, it is either returned or lost. Regardless of what happened to your card, you should call IRCC for information on the status of your mailed card. It could have been returned to IRCC so they can email it again to you using a valid address.
Anyone from Aug 2 eCOPR and no updates at all yet? We even talked to our MP they said they haven’t printed our cards yet but when we called IRCC said they have no updates at all. PR Card application linked in GCKey account but still in progress no GU1 or GU2. Kinda worried since we have an upcoming travel that we have booked (flying out November 29) 5 months before getting PR approved on July but now none of all our visas work so I don’t know what to do anymore. I hate to be annoying but would reaching out to my MP again be okay?
GU means ghost update and these updated can be seen in your GCKey.
GU1 is I think photo is approved and your PR Card is now in queue for printing in production.
GU2 is when the PR Card is mailed to you.
anyone from VO Etobicoke who have received "GU2" after receiving "GU1" in the first week of Oct '23 & "eCOPR" in first week of Aug '23?
Someone from the IRCC helpdesk told me that GU1 means "card is in print and production", also trying to understand whats the normal timeline for getting a card printing done if someone have that knowledge?
