Can someone post a link to the current passport surrender rules / timelines? I could only find the one that has been issued by the Embassy of India, Democratic Republic of Congo. Any equivalent for Canada?

In Ottawa our details mentioned in appointment print out was verified against our passport. Not sure if that is the case in Brampton too. Moreover you not showing up will anyways help 3 walkin candidates get a slot that day. So it won't get wasted.

Any recent applications from ottawa? I filed on 27th September and it started processing on 28th. But no update after that.
i am really anxious as my brother is getting married in dec and i really have to be there.

I submitted it from Ottawa on Sep 1st, by walk in. Still shows processing at high commission. It's the 7th week now.

Not sure if this is the norm currently for Ottawa applications
