Hi, does anyone know how long it will take once the file is transferred to the local office? Recently, I received a letter from Immigration stating that my file was transferred to the local office for a background check. I did not submit the police clearance for the UAE, which is due to unpaid credit card issues.

yes protected person. with oversea spouse and dependents. since i applied 19 Jan. the file was closed till 29-sept. then it started to move forward.

After pre arrival it usually stucks. But you have family oversea maybe it works quick for you and your family. Good luck.

Today I called IRCC and got my Temporary number with starting Letter XG , is that possible to link my application by using this number to my GCky account ?

Yes , you can. I did this too before. You have to remove X from the beginning of your number and try to connect it to GCky

I tried to connect my application to GCKey account by using this application number but There is no application found . What should I do next ? Any idea ?
