How long is it taking for Ottawa paper applicants to get oath updated to in progress after LPP complete?
Looks like our VO is extremely slow when compared other VOs like Vancouver where people are getting path update the very next day after LPP.

Recent ones who got it was after 1.5 - 2 months. Extreme cases 4+ months.

Got passport request on 20 July, and sent it right away. on 25 July, LPP was updated to complete with a date of 21 July. Hopefully will invitation for oath soon.

I got my invite last Friday. I completed background check mid May.

It's all over the place. We got test invite after ~2 months BG completion.

June 22 applicant, got it 4 months after BG completion. I hope things would be way faster now.

Ottawa files are being tossed around other offices these days. You would only know your office once you get the test invite, mine was from Niagara. It's also possible that once test is done, your files may be passed on to another office (maybe Ottawa) for LPP/oath etc.
