PR Card Question - Online Vs Paper

Hello Team,
My PR card expiring next year May2024 (family of 3). I was going through the renewal process and I see online application form submission & also paper based. Please help to share some insights :
1. Do we need to have each online login/application for each of the family member ? (if its online submission)
2. Do we have a way to send paper application as well ? Like three different forms for each and send along with all document proofs ?
3. Can we apply by September 1st for renewal ? (due by May 2024)
