Hi! I actually called them yesterday and they told me to wait for the email.
She wasn't able to tell me the reason of why there is 2 dates, but she said that if the Oath was actually on August 4 we would receive an email today the latest. If the Oath is for August 10 she said July 31 was the last day to get the email, so she recommended me to call on August 1 if I dont receive the email I imagine that in your case it would be one day earlier so call by July 31 if you haven't received any email
She also said that she thinks that the right date is probably the second (August 10 in my case).
I wanted to ask you how were you able to request an in person ceremony? Did they contact you to ask your preference? Or did you voluntarily told the processing office? If so, what did you tell them?
Also, waiting to hear from you once you receive the new redesigned passport
Thank you! I received the Notice to Appear In-Person. I don't know they choose. What I know is that when you receive the invitation, you can send a message back saying that you prefer the other modality.
Hi All, An update for my mom's application, she is over 55yo and did not get test.
First Invitation July 05, 2023 for a ceremony on July 17 2023.
I lost access to her account on July 5 and gained access again on July 17 (I checked often, 2 or 3 times a day). she missed her ceremony, she received the email and deleted it thinking it was a spam email, I know I know!.
Anyways, July 25 we received the second invitation for her ceremony to be August 03th. This time the email was not erased!!! Good luck to everyone
Language and Prohibitions were all updated on July 05 when she was first invited.
One final thing before I log off for good. I take back not wanting an in person ceremony. It was actually a very sweet experience and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
