Was a bad one for me. The clerk was straight up like " no, you should have requested this beforehand"
So if you really want E-certificate then email them now to reschedule you for a ceremony that gives you e certificate option.
I think I was told here that once application closes that is when it means certificate has been sent out which technically will be the final step. On ECAS it shows complete and under that " you became citizen on July 13th,2023" which was my oath date.
The clerk sounded very confident that day that he will process things same day once the signed oath form is received.
The clerk said to write their name in the subject ONLY and not following the instructions in the oath instruction letter
She said if I send it as instructed it will be sitting in the mailbox till September and that they will send the certificate tomorrow once I send it as instructed by the clerk

Yes same. My clerk said and asked same thing. Even the judge would have said to do the same to you all attendees. This way it is quicker for them to differentiate between the regular inquiries and signed oath forms.

May be you can call IRCC to check if they have mailed it. That way we can find out if they are sending it with ceremony complete and ECAS complete or after application closed like we have heard on here a lot
