I received a ghost update on my application today.

APP type: Common Law (however, only me applying as my partner is in the process of getting her PR)
Presence days: 1272 Days
App sent: April 23rd, 2023 (online app)
AOR: May 18th, 2023 (came from email)
Tracker access: May 20th, 2023
First GU: June 15th, 2023
Second GU: June 16th, 203

Everything is IP, including BG, LLP etc.

No test email yet, hope for the best!

Just logged into my tracker and it got updated again on June 21st, 2023. Now shows citizenship test scheduled and fingerprint request on June 19th, 2023, test window June 26 to July 16th, 2023. However, no email is received yet regarding test instruction nor fingerprint instruction.

Update: Received test email invitation and fingerprint instruction on June 21st, 2023.

If you keep comparing to others you are going to have a tough time. There would be applicants who would be done with their application in 3 months and there would be others taking close to ~12 months. Better compare it with other applicants in the same processing office. That would give you a fair idea about how things will move for you.

Don’t compare your progress with anyone. I’ve submitted my application which was received on April 11th still waiting on the AOR or a returned package. I’ve called, nothing. I’ve emailed nothing. I requested the notes to see what is happening.

Hey Jahrule, we are in the same boat my friend. Application received on April 11th but nothing. Not even a returned package to start the process over!

Hi. I actually applied for keeping my citizenship. And got approved. If I were you I would wait maybe a year or two. Apparently they're in the process of changing everything and you can just keep the citizenship without applying for it. I was at the embassy on June 12th and that's what the officer told me.
It was supposed to be done already in March this year but it's German bureaucracy.

Thank you, I guess I will wait there's no consulate nor embassy here in Edmonton.

got 2 GU on 14th and 16th but nothing completed as of now ,, everything in process , nothing says completed
