Just wanted to clarify my understanding.

this is not a mandatory step and there will be no communication from the IRCC to register here, but if we are curious on tracking the status of our application we could register here. Am I right?.

Yes, largely correct (though I did receive a communication from IRCC about 5 to 6 days after getting AOR informing me I could register on the Citizenship tracker to track my application. But it is optional).

Thank you @Ablaze . So there will be communication from IRCC after AOR is received for optionally registering to this tracker. this helps. Thanks a lot

Finally able to register for the status tracker. So yeah it takes around 2 days.

very interesting, this morning I received an email from IRCC about the application tracker.
So another data point: about 1 week after AOR, IRCC will send an email informing to register an account for tracker.

Hello. I got AOR a few mins ago, still waiting AOR for my wife and kid. Right after that. I received an email requesting police cert from IRCC.ClientInformation-InformationsClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

. but i didn’t stay in any country for over 183 days. How can i respond? Can i respond directly to that email? Should i get a police cert to avoid long processing time?

I have similar situation, I replied to the email
But still on tracker showing they are waitting for my reply

Have you sent a follow-up email? You decided not to provide the police certificate and wait instead?

He should just send what they want instead of them closing the file as incomplete. Considering they started processing, refund of application fee is no longer an option.

Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet.

People who got theirs delivered in Apr 3- 7 week are getting AORs this week. Most probably the second week ones would be next week.

To give you some idea, my application was delivered April-17th..
