Congrats! I have almost the exact same timeline as you, so hopefully my LPP will be completed soon also. Have you done anything to nudge them, like requesting GCMS notes, reaching out to MP, etc.?

Yes, I requested GCMS notes a while ago, but I haven't got any response.

Last week, I emailed my MP to check the status for me, they requested my details but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

LPP has been progress for me for almost 9 months and for my spouse it has been in progress for almost 2 months since the last update, spouse had to do fingerprint 2 times already, now I am getting a little impatient with this process as my PR card are about to expire next month.

• I am not sure should I apply for renewal of the cards ?
• If the renewal of cards is in progress can we still continue with oath if scheduled during that time?

Renewal time frame are now around 80 days so good 3 months

Unless you need it to travel you do not need to renew your PR card, it's unnecessary you can use your expired card during the ceremony

My oath ceremony was rescheduled and I did it today waiting for the certificate to arrive by mail. I hope your LPP get completed soon.

Did your certificate arrive? Was there an option to select e-certificate instead of mail?

Yes , I received it finally this morning.
I didn't see an option for e-certificate nor any official offered it.

Did resending the oath form with smaller file size helped? Oath MB/SK office May 8th. No update in tracker/ no certificate received in mail

Yes, I re-sent it on Monday, called IRCC Tuesday morning and confirmed that they received it on Monday and that the Certificate was mailed out on the same day (Monday). I didn't send it volunteerly, they asked me to resend it.

Just a question regarding ghost updates. Is it for sure that the last updated date is modified ~2 days after they’ve made a change/looked at your file?

my LPP was completed may12. ~2 days after would be 14th. I don’t remember checking on Sunday and I directly checked on may16(current last updated date).

trying to understand if someone looked at my file on Monday

On Tracker, Citizenship oath changed to in-progress on May 14th.

It's been 1 year and a half now without a single update. Guess they've completely forgot about my application. I have no idea what to do.

Same here no update from IRCC. My son's PR card expired and the college is asking for an updated one. I sent another application to renew his PR last month. The waiting game is here again.

This must be very frustrating. Wait another couple of months. If you don’t get any update by then, you can consider hiring an immigration attorney, and proceed towards a writ of mandamus.
