Same here no update since last GU on March 2 then April 18 and 20 , very strange I was expecting BG but nothing , regretting that I applied paper , online moved fast even they got update last few days with the strike , I read that IRCC employees not only demanding salary raise in the strike but also to continue working from home so looks like applying online went to employees who work from home and process it fast and the other who were still working from office processed paper , they processed it slow or have backlog and they said also only full time permanent employees are in strike but temporary are not who they hire recently guessing those are the one who are processing online application , so online applicant will still getting update BG test invite LPP , but might paper not till end of strike
Hi there,

Wife applied on June 27, 2022; test completed on Dec 10, 2022. Except that still today, nothing turned green. It is not about online or paper based application. Rather, it is about who is handling your case. In other words, the officer who is in charge of your case. I and my cousin, both applied online application on June 26, 2022, same day. I am waiting for oath ceremony and my cousin has finished his oath ceremony on March 21, 2023. What is the point to argue, the point is that they are completely unpredictable, that how their system works.

Does anyone know about A1, A2 tests? I was checking November' 22 thread and saw these tests in signatures sections for many folks...

Hi all, looks like the strike is not going away soon ):

The last progress from what I've seen were dates April 20th.

Anyone got any new updates after?

It's not gonna end well. Only if those who are striking are not gonna get their payments as they are not working, they will be forced to go back to work.

The problem with this kind of situation is that if you comply, you are doomed cause it will happen every year and demands will rise and increase. If you don't, then it's a matter of time until they either go back to work so that they pay the bills or the government is forced to comply due to public pressure for delays.
