Nice! The same here. Paper application with family of 3, BG is marked as completed today
Email comes closer to the start of the test window.I don't know if this counts as I have not yet received an official email invitation to test but I checked my tracker just on the off-chance and it has been updated to 'take the citizenship test' with a window between 5 and 25th of May. I am not sure when the update posted.
Is this common? To have this update without an email invitation?
I’m not being pessimistic… I’m very hopeful that our applications would be cleared sooner than we think ..That would really suck but let’s not be so pessimistic. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and things keep moving in an orderly manner.
I don’t think the strike would delay anything too much, as long it ends soon. COVID lasted for over 2 years, so the delays were bound to come. Let’s be positive hereThe COVID excuse for IRCC backlogs and delays has run its course now the strike of 2023 will be used to blame ongoing failures. Should be good for the next 2-3 more years.
