Biometrics validity letter

I applied my visitor visa on June 12 2022
Completed biometrics on June 13th 2022


On April 17th 2023 I am receiving my Biometrics Validity letter.Waah almost 1 year waiting for any message in my account....have you ever waited for something until you feel no matter the results you just want it done...it has been long waiting period.

How long before I get my final results and what are the chances of positive results?

I applied from Kenya.

Okay wait here is the crazy part,or mayb my story line.

I applied on June 12 2022 while in Kenya,5 Months later I got a work permit to Dubai with my application still pending,then in March 20th 2023 I filed a webform with change of address...then boom! my application started moving and I got my BVL,Do you think my change of address helped make my application viewed?

i dont know if it was the change of address but when exactly did you get bvl??.you can also track application to see if you view visa document and number .

And guess what this all messages its not available in the status tracker..

I received the email on the new message but upon opening status tracker it's not showing any changes but on the previous Gckey sign in I can see my BVL..

I guess the status tracker is a bit late or slower than the old site

i dont know if it was the change of address but when exactly did you get bvl??.you can also track application to see if you view visa document and number .

Yes the tracker is quite slow actually.

Hi there! Inquiring for my parents- i applied for their visitor visa this month, April 7, they did biometrics on April 14..they have had previous Canadian visitor visas and reason for visit it to see their daughter who is a can citizen who lives in Canada. My parents live in Dubai UAE but need to travel to India urgently..we are worried , what if they are needed etc? Can you pls advise..will it really be a very long time from now till they get the Biometrics Validity? was this your 3rd step? almost a 10 month wait? Thanks
