Yeah. The last days of stream B was 15,16,17 july had surprisingly fast increase in number of applications. Still, many of them already got PR.
I applied on 02 July still waiting for criminality and security to pass for ages
My application is in process. I have a question that if i want to travel to USA for 2-3 days do I need to inform IRCC that I am going out? Any information??
Just a heads up for someone that is wondering: you can take a picture using app (there’s some that are free) or taken by a professional (I went to UPS and paid $22.54). The photo needs to be 2000x2800 , if the system doesn’t accept you will receive a message as soon as the upload is completed. You can change the format, open as jpeg and click resize. Then click in pixel and add the correct pixel.
I am still waiting for my tr to pr decision. I applied on July 16, 2021, and still have not heard anything from the IRCC. I got my AOR last year. Whenever I contact IRCC or MP they say the same thing my file is in processing and they have not started my eligibility or criminality check. It is so frustrating. please advise me. I also applied for GCMS in Jan 2023 and still waiting. All of my friends have got their pr approved and PR Card.
My application is in Whitehorse.
Mine also expires later this year, but keep it anyway for future years to prove the original date of receiving PR in Canada (e.g. for when you apply for Old Age Security). The assumption is that your PR Card will be arriving shortly (before the expiry on your eCOPR) and will have a longer expiry. You will need to renew your PR Card over time until if/when you become a Canadian citizen. It's only a guess on my part but I think the limited expiry date on the printed eCOPR is because it would be easy to to use fraudulently, whereas the PR Card with your photo and other data would be much harder to abuse.

You are in very good company. Don't worry. As we are discovering, the last few days of July, and July 16th in particular, were very busy days for Stream B, Non-Healthcare, English, which means that this stream was back-end loaded (lots of applicants towards the end) whereas IG Stream was front-end loaded with everyone applying on May 6/7th.
It appears that different streams are being handled by different areas (based on different skillsets needed to review eligibility requirements between IG stream versus Steam A/B), but within each steam, there seems to be a very approximate processing by application date &/or AOR.
IG Steam filled up right away because most of them likely already had English Language tests in hand, and by definition had already graduated, and had no need for 1560 hrs of essential worker NOC work -- they only had to be employed in any NOC. If many of the Stream B's were like me, we had to scramble to get places for English Language tests which instantly filled when the program was announced -- I had to 'wait' to test & literally applied the day I got my results. (Seriously, getting all of my documents gathered, passport updated during Covid closures, then toggling English test centres for better dates, was like living a James Bond movie!! -- "Casino Royale" -- and I'm sure I'm not the only one.)
This might be more than you were asking ... just sharing! Best wishes.
As soon as you received the PR portal email, you will have 7 days to confirm that you are in Canada.
When IRCC sends the eCOPR, usually all your current permits (work, eTA) become invalid. You will be able to see that in the gKey account showing them as invalid. See below the link that may help you

I applied on 02 july and still waiting here and see a lot of july people got PR already. Some people in june are waiting, and even some in may too. No one can advise you anything except for waiting. There were 23.7k applications on 14 july and 30k applications on 16 july, so you can see your position in there. You could be one of lucky people to get approval early or you could be among those getting approval at last. No one knows
15 July
stream B
Linked 14 July 2022 & AoR within 24 hours
Biometrics done
Info sharing complete
Medical passed - expired
Criminality - in progress since Trudeau’s father was born
Security & Eligibility - not started because Whitehorse officer wants to drink alcohol during work hours

Hey guys
My friend received her Pr portal yesterday and has to reply to the email for her and her dependents. However, her husband who is her dependent is not in canada right now and will be back in April. also , he already got is permanent residency in January from his application.
that fact that her dependent is not in canada ,Will this affect her pr? Will it cause a delay in receiving ecopr? Please What should she reply or how could she reply to that portal email?
Please guys when you receive pr portal and have to confirm that you are in canada , do you and your dependents in canada have to be in canada or only you have to be in canada when replying?
To be honest, it doesn't help a lot. My MP has been following up my process and providing regular updates since July 2022, the same info that he provided I could see in the IRCC website. I think notes are more effective, but I could be wrong
Please guys when you receive pr portal and have to confirm that you are in canada , do you and your dependents in canada have to be in canada or only you have to be in canada when replying?
The confirmation is individual. You need to add and submit the file for each member individually, I also received individual confirmation. When receiving the initial PR email, they said that you should inform any change in circumstances. I recommend you and your friend call IRCC. If she doesn’t speak English very well, she can give you permission to ask question on her behalf
It’s odd that he didn’t included her in his application, and then been included in her application as dependent. It’s interesting
The letter states that: If you are outside Canada:
If you are currently outside Canada, you cannot be landed using the PR Portal (PR Confirmation). It is important that you let us know when you are planning on returning to Canada by replying to this email. Further instructions will be sent to you.
