Nope, I just replied to what they requested. IRCC just has a way of handling issues I presume.
Weird of them to re-ask instead of working on their own laziness. Wherever there’s a union, employees become too careless

Guys, what takes longer to pass, Criminality or Security?
Criminality based on what ppl are posting even though I think it should be the other way around as security should be something that must be focused harder. For criminality you already have access to rcmp n court records

While I agree that IRCC is taking longer processing time than necessary, the people you mentioned are June applicants while maxiie applied on July 16 (same as me) iirc so it doesn't make sense to compare the timelines.
I applied on July 15. I know but still they should’ve atleast started eligibility by now. Lol that should be the first thing they should start in this process, it would’ve reduced their backlogs

you would expect all this to be done in a shorter period of time since they asked for a police clearance report too in the checklist
& I had even provided rcmp apart from pcc to expedite the process

Cbsa notes will be quicker but gcms notes will give you details
My 'notes' were ordered through ATIP. You have the option of ordering them through IRCC or CBSA but generally the information should not be dramatically different between the two. I ordered mine through CBSA. They included a few pages of Background Check info (like Security, Info Sharing, Criminality, etc), generic summary identification and application data, and a summary of IRCC/GCMS notes. The GCMS notes section is where I was provided with the actual batch notices AND agent comments, including what the agent recorded in reviewing and passing my Eligibility on Aug 8, 2022.

A while ago @SmzAmir created a google doc with a variety of answers to common questions. These relate to GCMS notes:
How to apply for CBSA Notes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r3s69VBCcNfaS45GTS3rzXNFW4EauGJA/view?usp=sharing
How to read GCMS Notes: https://www.getgcms.com/blog/how-to-read-and-interpret-the-gcms-notes/
Best wishes!

ALLOW ME TO RESTATE TO EVERYONE WATCHING THEIR ACCOUNTS FOR SIGNS OF IRCC ACTIVITY -- although my notes said Eligibility passed in August, absolutely nothing else changed in my account on Eligibility, Background Check & Final Decision until I received eCOPR 3.5 weeks after the first PR confirmation email on Feb 13. SO PLEASE EVERYONE, DON'T PANIC when you don't see stuff passing in your account. I wish it wasn't so, but our pathway has become very un-transparent as IRCC tries to pick up the pace and complete TR to PR. Best wishes everyone!

Guys if my friend applied for tr to pr when they were on implied status, that is still alright right?
Yes, it's alright as long as your friend's maintained/implied status allowed them to work. I applied under maintained status as a Student (with permission to work off-campus). At the time I applied for TR to PR, I was still waiting for two applications to be processed. In June 2021, they were already 2.5 and 1.5 years old (with no updates on my account and no ADR's) and neither got completed until July 2022, only 2 weeks apart. So for awhile, I had 3 applications in IRCC's backlog.

Guys, what takes longer to pass, Criminality or Security?
I may sound like a broken record, but no one knows for sure. There have been huge variations in when & what shows in some people's accounts, but the lack of items completing doesn't mean they are not 'done' -- someone has just not pressed the final button or ticked the final box on that step. Many have had these passed for a long time, or in progress for a long time, and in varying orders (as revealed in CBSA/GCMS notes), but often they don't get 'passed' officially in your account until just before, during and even after your first PR email. Mine didn't show as complete until the day I received eCOPR. An agent said my Criminality was still in progress but I got the PR email the very next morning.

I'll say it again, transparency is not happening in our pathway but don't panic about it. Raise a fuss with your MP, send a webform, call the call centre, get your representative to inquire, but the only thing I found useful was ordering my GCMS notes through CBSA. Best wishes!
