Hello folks,

I've applied visitor visa application on Feb 18, 2023 via GCKey. Biometrics are valid until 2032 and has been updated on the GCKey portal right away, but we haven't received any updates afterwards. Does anyone know if restarting application on IRCC portal will help with speeding things up?

Hi everyone, wondering if anyone can provide insight:

I'm gonna apply (represent) my sister for a TRV along with her husband. She has two Canadian visas refused (2007 & 2017) and a US denial in 2021. Her husband had a Canadian visa refused in 2017 and US in 2021.
For the Canadian refusal reason in 2017, they noted:
-"you have not satisfied me you would leave Canada at the end of your stay"
-They checked off: "current employment situation" and "personal assets and financial status"
-"You have not satisfied me you have sufficient funds...to carry your stated purpose in going to Canada".

I'm wondering:
1- what do they mean by "current employment situation"? She had provided work letter at that time.
2- I'm a Canadian citizen and will write an invitation letter, provide my work letter and my husband's, does this help? Can I say I would like to pay for her travel tickets? They would be staying with me, so no cost with accomodation
3- What's a reasonable/expected amount of $$ per week of stay in Canada as per IRCC?
4-They want to come to visit and has zero intention of staying, what's the best approach to this? Does paying an IRCC representative agency to write a letter of support helps?

I applied visitor visa for my mother and brother together in new portal but it shows two different applications. But invitation letter and most of other documents I uploaded in Mother’s section no invitation or funds proof in brother’s application. Is it okay??
