Eligibility just updated!

Applied on 12th, sponsor PR tracker now shows "eligibility completed" on Feb 28th, and PA GCkey tracker shows eligibility is being reviewed since March 1st.

We received no emails, no SA, no "we started reviewing...". But this means sponsor was approved and they are examining PA now right?

I found out that the eligibility status changes to 'We are reviewing..' on GC key when it's completed. My PA pr tracker was updated eligibility completed on the same date my GCkey was updated to reviewing.

I've been researching if eligibility completed means AIP or SA, and some people get a separate email notifying AIP or SA so I'm confused too. If your GCkey says reviewing then it looks like it's done or almost done, it will show on the pr tracker soon. Also as long as my researching is correct lol most likely PAL is sent out when both PA and Sponsor eligibility completed. It's just background check left for us just hoping it gets done soon!!

Btw, have you tried ECAS? Some ppl see their status update there as Decision made when their eligibility completed, but I never have been able to find my application there..

Now I can use My PA pr tracker. just had me medical examination two days ago. Hope every is ok

I have not been able to log into ECAS, tried many combinations lol...

PR tracker and GCkey both work, and it does seem like whenever it's "in review" it's basically done give and take 2-3 days. I will let you know if I get PAL/SA/AIP in email. So far all progress has only been on portals.

I just received a pre-arrival letter.
I was wondering if this pre-arrival letter is the same as approval in principle, or if there is a difference between the two?
Since I do not have valid status in Canada right now, I need to apply OWP once I get AIP.

File submitted 16 January received 17 January AOR 4 February medical 6 February medical pass 21 feb now it’s showing processing background check . Still waiting for background to update. No idea where the application stands at present because most of it has been automatic updates. Hoping that the process is quick because the stress of this is going to give me an ulcer!!

Hi everyone, I received a medical examination reminder email today March 10 and then I linked my application to the portal. It showed on IRCC that I passed the medical exam on March 2. How does this happen? I did a medical exam 4 years ago for my visa. Does it mean I do not need to do another medical exam right?

Same situation here. Also there was reminder for RFRF fee which I already paid .

Yes, eligibility shows completed on tracker and received a letter stating PA passed eligibility
