It makes three of us, then. I'm also wondering if the CAS tool is not working or if it does not suit our cases. I hope all of us get a positive response soon!
Let's hope for the best.

Did you submit police certificate using ircc webform ?

Our application was submitted and managed by an immigration lawyer (sponsored by employer) so I don't know the exact details but they said "... police certificates have been sent to the IRCC authorities through our representative account on the (application) portal". I am guessing that when IRCC requests additional documents, there is a place for you to submit them right where you submitted your application. But, since I didn't do it myself, I can't say for sure.
Hello Guys, I am new to this forum. Please see my timeline from CSQ to on-going federal application below:
CSQ received: Dec 7, 2022
Federal applied (online application): Dec 21, 2022
AOR/Application number received by email: Feb 6, 2023
Linked my application to online account: Feb 8, 2023
Medical exam passed: Feb 7, 2023
(in case you might be wondering I didn't receive medical request. I had an upfront medical done for my work permit and I applied it during submitting my federal application)
I have 2 questions regarding the same:
1. I can't see my application status by CAS tool. Is it applicable for QSW applications?
2. My IRCC account still shows that my background check is still in process. I know application processing time varies case to case, but what are the usual processing times these days just to have an idea.
I received Pre-arrival letter today. I also had a
We're on the same boat. Keep posted.
Hey guys, I received Pre-arrival letter today after a ghost update yesterday.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your timeline. I am in a similar situation (outlander from UAE). Submitted the application to IRCC on Dec 28th, 2022 and received AOR on Feb 9th, 2023, med upfront and Biometrics on file both passed on Feb 8th. My question is regarding Eligibility, has it changed to pass after the last update you received i.e. the pre-arrival letter? Thanks.

My account still shows "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". What about you?

Same here! However, I haven't received the pre-arrival letter yet though. I'm guessing that having received it indicates that processing have actually started on yours.

Hopefully! One of my friend got her 1st email 1 week after receiving the pre-arival letter. So i am hopeful although the timeline for everyone differs.

That's wonderful! What's your friend's timeline if I may ask?
In general, the background check is the step that often takes a while. Having already received CSQ technically makes the person eligible for the program as it were .

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of applying at the federal level as a QSW, I've already received my CSQ. For the document checklist (IMM5690e), number 12, Proof of Language Proficiency states that it accepts IELTS, CELPIP or TEF. I took the TEFAQ (C1 Oral, B2 Listening) which was accepted by Quebec.
I see that TEFAQ isn't on the list, but I'm really hoping that doesn't mean that I would have to take a different language exam for the federal application....
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks!!
PTM

Federal doesn't need language certificates.
